Dean, formerly of this place but who for the past number of years has resided at Bayard, passed away at the home of his brother Ben at Bayard, on January 3rd. Deceased has been in failing health for the past two years and death resulted from leakage of the heart. Dean, formerly of this place but who for the past number of years has resided at Bayard, passed away at the home of his brother Ben at Bayard, on January 3rd. Deceased has been in failing health for the past two years and death resulted from leakage of the heart. The remains were brought here Sunday and laid to rest in the cemetery at this place Tuesday afternoon. C.B. Dean was born February (sic) 24, Sciotaville (sic), Ohio, and departed this life January 3, 1930, aged 58 years, 10 months and 7 days. He leaves to mourn his departure, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Benj. F. Dean of Nelson, two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Reeves (sic) of Nelson and Mrs. Caroline Williams of Lawrence; and five brothers: Barney D. and Wm. R. of Fremont, Arthur Fay of Nelson, Robert of Basin, Wyo., and Ben of Bayard. Services were conducted at the M.E. church by Rev. Zimmerman and the burial was in Nelson cemetery (sic), beside his brother Charles who has gone on before.
