The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, April 13, 1967 ======================== Mrs. Lillie Mae Reeve was born in the state of Ohio, March 9, 1885, and later moved to Nelson, Nebraska, where she passed away April 11, 1967, at the age of eighty-two, at the Good Samaritan Home in Nelson, where she had been a resident for some time. Mrs. Reeve was married to Mr. Benjamin Clark Reeve in May 1905. To this marriage nine children were born, one of whom died at birth. Mrs. Reeve was preceeded (sic) in death by her husband, who passed away at the Grand Island Veterans Home, Grand Island, Nebr., in 1954 (NOTE: He died in Nov. 1953). Mrs. Reeve is survived by five sons and three daughters, Otto Reeve, Mitchell; Clyde Reeve and Dean Reeve, Nelson; Denny Reeve, Hastings; Mrs. Blanch Nelson, Doris, Calif.; Oren Reeve, Superior; Mrs. Elva Jane Nash, Hastings; and Mrs. Mary Electra Disney, who lives in the Canal Zone. She is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Klawitter Funeral Chapel, Friday, April 14 with Rev. Peter Vanderveen officiating. Pall bearers were John W. Troudt, Jim Williams, Terry Reeve, Rodney Reeve, Richard Reeve and Steve Disney. Interment was in the Nelson cemetery (sic) and the Klawitter Funeral Home was in charge.
