She moved with her mother to Ohio in 1867. In 1870 she was married to Benjamin F. Dean. To this union thirteen children were born. Six of them have preceded their mother in death. Those who survive Mrs. Dean are: Barney of Fremont, Ben of Bayard, Robert of Basin, Wyoming, William of Bayard, Lillie Reeve of Nelson, Caroline Williams of Lawrence, Arthur of Nelson; 16 grand children and 13 great grand children. Another has gone to receive her reward and will be missed by those who knew her. Funeral service was held in the M.E. Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. V.R. Daniels.
