Read More	Clifford Emerson Moul, a long time resident of Fairmont, Neb., was born December 28, 1895. He passed away at his home in Fairmont March 21, 1966, at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 24 days. He was a son of Willis and Alice Moul, who farmed many years near Fairmont. Cliff, as he was known by his many friends, attended school i Fairmont and later joined the Army, serving in World War I. He was a charter member of the American Legion Post No. 21, and a member of the Grace Methodist church in Fairmont. Upon being discharged from the Army, Cliff ventured to Collbran, Col. In working in the Colorado area, he met and married Nellie M. Snipes of Collbran, and to this union were born three sons, Kenneth Emerson and Romy Benson of Hastings and Louis Lamar of Fairmont. The family returned to the Fairmont area in March, 1932. Cliff was engaged in the commercial trucking business for many years. Later he was a Star route mail carrier and a school bus driver until his retirement. Upon retiring, he became an avid fisherman and made fishing nearly a full time hobby. Many days of his last few years were spent camping, fishing and boating with his three sons, his grandchildren and numerous friends. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife; three sons, two daughters-in-law, Joan and Bette; six grandchildren; a sister, Mildred of Hastings; six brothers, Walt, Oliver and Lew of Fairmont, Francis of Boone, Ia., Wilbur of Madrid, Neb. and Loren of Santa Monica, Cal.; and a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at Grace Methodist church in Fairmont. Rev. Leonard Hartwig officiating. Mrs. Rex Plock sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "in the Garden.: Mrs. A.P. Stewart was accompanist. Pallbearers were Gordon Cassidy, Raymond Hall, Kenneth Kness, Gailord Philson, Floyd Smith and Lloyd Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. A.A. Ashby, Clinton Halsey, Harry Murrell, Preston Ogden, Frank Watson and Charles F. Tous. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery, where the American Legion Post No. 21 had charge of graveside services.
