Description	:	Boltz, Clifford William Age 91, of Sacramento, Calif., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 4, 2010. He passed away peacefully. Clifford was born on September 26, 1918, to Pier and Mary Bordeaux Boltz in St. Francis, S.D. He graduated from St. Francis High School and married his high school sweetheart, Eileen Sokolik, on September 24, 1938. They moved to Sacramento in December 1941. Read More	Boltz, Clifford William Age 91, of Sacramento, Calif., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 4, 2010. He passed away peacefully. Clifford was born on September 26, 1918, to Pier and Mary Bordeaux Boltz in St. Francis, S.D. He graduated from St. Francis High School and married his high school sweetheart, Eileen Sokolik, on September 24, 1938. They moved to Sacramento in December 1941. Cliff served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was stationed in the Philippines. He was proud of his service to his country. After the war he resumed working at McClellan AFB as a mechanical engineer and technician, retiring in 1976 after 37 years. He was also a skilled carpenter. In his younger years Cliff enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially pheasant hunting in South Dakota. During his retirement he enjoyed working on his home and continued to work part time as a civil engineering consultant into his late 70s. He volunteered for many years at St. Vincent de Paul's and St. Philomene's Church. He loved lending a helping hand to those in need. Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Eileen, sister Genevieve Smith of Oklahoma, children Ronald Boltz (wife Ronie), Gayle Boltz, Phyllis Kereazis, Beverly Boltz, Greg Boltz; son-in-law Paul Allen and daughter-in-law Joyce Boltz; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons Robert and Kenneth, grandson Jeffrey, and two brothers and two sisters. There will be a graveside service on June 25 at 11 Court, and a small family memorial is being planned. He will lovingly remain in our hearts forever.
