Clyde died at age 40 years, 11 months, 25 days, following an operation for appendicitis at the Horton Hospital. Clyde grew to manhood at Everest, KS. He was married to Bessie Kimberlin, of Fairview, KS on April 10, 1920. To this union a daughter, Adena Lee, was born. He lived at Everest, KS. a short time, later moving to Fairview, KS where he was county foreman 10 of those years. He moved to Hiawatha, KS in March 1941, where he was employed as salesman for Hiawatha Motor Co. owned by Major Frank Sterns. His mother Cecelia, and sister Bessie Adams preceded him in death.
