Colleen was born October 11, 1928 in Atchison the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Biffinger) Porter. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1946. Colleen had worked for the Exchange National Bank as a Teller and also at the City National Bank as a Loan Officer. Read More	Colleen Alpha Jaegle (October 11, 1928 - April 12, 2011) Colleen Alpha Jaegle, 82, of Atchison, KS passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Colleen was born October 11, 1928 in Atchison the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Biffinger) Porter. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1946. Colleen had worked for the Exchange National Bank as a Teller and also at the City National Bank as a Loan Officer. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, WLCA, VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. Colleen enjoyed bowling, dancing and eating sweets; especially pie. She loved volunteering for the Atchison Hospital Auxiliary and getting together with her friends at Marigold's. Colleen married Charles J. Jaegle, Sr. on July 3, 1949 at St. Mark's Lutheran. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include a son, Charles (Barbara) Jaegle, II, Atchison, KS; sister, Peachy Omega Weishaar, Nortonville, KS; and two grandchildren, Cassandra and Candice Jaegle, also of Atchison. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Thomas Geyer Porter and Charles Kirk Porter. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Rev. Dinah Dutta officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Friday at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the St. Mark's Lutheran Church or the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
