Description	:	Mrs. Cora Bell Garey, a resident of Montgomery County all of the nearly 78 years of her life, died Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at her home on West Eighty Street. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wolfe Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. E. M. Bueller. The singing was by Cecil Weaver, accompanied by Mrs. E. M. Bueller and pall bearers were Geo. B. Patterson, Wayne Fuller, Lee Fuller, Nay Campbell, Austin Rusk, and Clark Garey. Interment was in the Grant Cemetery by the side of the husband of the deceased. Cora Bell Patterson, daughter of Urias and Mary Patterson was born February 28, 1865 near Grant, Iowa. She was married April 27, 1886 to Lewis E. Garey of Grant and they established their home there, residing there until the spring of 1912, when they moved to Villisca, which was their home during the remainder of their lives. To this union were born seven children, Mrs. Mary Carmichael, Grant; Mrs. Hattie Chapman, Massena; Mrs. Ruby Strait, Council Bluffs, and Ray, Glen, and Don Garey, Villisca. One son, Urias died October 20, 1918, and the husband and father died August 6, 1936. Mrs. Garey was a member of the Christian Church. She leaves besides her children, 25 grandchildren, and 92 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Wolfe Funeral Home with the Rev. Mr. Buehler of the Methodist Church, in charge. Cecil Weaver wea soloist with Mrs. Buehler his accompanist. Pallbearers were George V. Patterson of Red Oak, Wayne Fuller of Clarinda, Nay Campbell, Lee Fuller, Austin Rusk, and Clark Garey. Burial was in the Grant Cemetery. Mrs. Garey is survived by six children, Glen, Ray, and Don of Villisca, Mrs. Ruby Strait of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Hattie Chapman of Massena. She also leaves several grandchildren.
