Description	:	Cora Mae (Brownie) Packer Theobald, 77, died Sunday, August 2, 1998, following a heart attach at her home in Pembroke, Mass. Brownie was born July 12, 1921, the fourth child of Erwin and Martha (Suckow) Packer of Rudyard. She received her elementary education at the Packer and Oreana schools North of Rudyard and graduated from Rudyard High School in 1938. After graduation from Northern Montana College she taught at several Montana schools. Later she enrolled at Hillcrest Bible College in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and subsequently taught there. Brownie was born July 12, 1921, the fourth child of Erwin and Martha (Suckow) Packer of Rudyard. She received her elementary education at the Packer and Oreana schools North of Rudyard and graduated from Rudyard High School in 1938. After graduation from Northern Montana College she taught at several Montana schools. Later she enrolled at Hillcrest Bible College in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and subsequently taught there. Brownie married Frank Tkheobald on June 19, 1959. To this union was born their only child Marie Zanna. She continued to teach as they moved to accomodate his jobs, ending at Pembroke. She was involved in teaching Bible classes and doing mission work at her church, and helpiong the sick and elderly. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and was an enthusiastic student of Montana history. Survivors include her daughter Marie and grandchildaren Leigh-Ann and Christian of Pembroke, sisters Doris Kegel of Havre and Dorothy Duncan of Joplin; sister-in-law Winnie Packer of Billings; step-son Gary Theobald and numberous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Bruce (1981) and sister Marie Lincoln (1995.
