Description	:	Cordelia Enola Geyer, daughter of Josiah Belone Francis was born in Dupont, Ind., April 22, 1864. She departed this life in Fairmont, Nebraska, August 29, 1941, at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 7 days. She was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to John Geyer, at Clyde, Kan., March 26, 1884. To this union six children were born; four of whom are still living. She was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to John Geyer, at Clyde, Kan., March 26, 1884. To this union six children were born; four of whom are still living. A son, Francis, died in infancy, and another son, Harold, died Dec. 28, 1930, in Hawaii. Mrs. Geyer is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Verna G. Gikas of Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Blanche Truffelli of San Francisco, Cal.; two sons, Clifford of Louisville, Nebr., and Merle of Leavenworth, Kan. She also leaves to mourn her death, two sisters, Mrs. John Peters, Fairmont, Nebr., and Mrs. G.A. Peterson, Hastings, Nebr.; and one brother, Elmer Francis of Holdrege, Neb. She also had five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He twin sister, Cornelia Shriver preceded her in death by four years, and her brother, Harley, by 17 years. Mrs. Geyer was a member of the local Federated church, and also held membership in the Rebekah lodge. Funeral services were held at the Fairmont Federated church at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 31, the pastor, Rev. E.R. King officiating. Oliver Moul sang, with Miss Evelyn Bridgman at the organ. Interment was made in the family plot in the Fairmont cemetery. Pallbearers were: Homer Lyons, Frank Francis, Chester Thomas, Edgar Miller, Albert Lott and Floyd Lott. Relatives and friends in attendance from out of town points were: Mrs. Blanche Truffelli of San Francisco, Cal.; Mr. and Mrs. Merle Geyer of Levenworth, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Geyer and family of Louisville, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miller of Geneva; Mr. and Mrs. John Traum of Fairbury; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Thomas and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lyons, Frank Francis, Mr. and Mrs. George Crooker, all of Lincoln; Mrs. Alice Peters of Friend; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Peterson of Hastings; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Plock of McCool. ----------------------------------- Daughter of Josiah and Belona (Rector) Francis.
