Description	:	Mrs. Dollie Peterson, nee Flora B. Francis, was born near Peoria, Ill., November 1, 1875. When a small child, she moved with her parents to Clyde, Kas. She resided there for many years and later came to Fairmont. When a girl, she gave her heart to God, and united with the Methodist Church, of which she was a member until the time of her death, October 8, 1961, at the Fairmont Nursing Home. December 27, 1894, she was united in marriage to Gust A. Peterson, who preceded her in death May 23, 1948. Always leading... Read More	Mrs. Dollie Peterson, nee Flora B. Francis, was born near Peoria, Ill., November 1, 1875. When a small child, she moved with her parents to Clyde, Kas. She resided there for many years and later came to Fairmont. When a girl, she gave her heart to God, and united with the Methodist Church, of which she was a member until the time of her death, October 8, 1961, at the Fairmont Nursing Home. December 27, 1894, she was united in marriage to Gust A. Peterson, who preceded her in death May 23, 1948. Always leading a lonely life since her husband's passing, she gladly answered her Father's call. Her parents, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing several nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends. As long as she was able, she was always willing and glad to do for others. Funeral services were held at Grace Methodist Church in Fairmont at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 8. Rev. Robert F Barger officiating. Oliver Moul sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "In the Garden." Mrs. A.P. Stewart was accompanist. Pallbearers were Albert Lott, Merle Geyer, Clifford Geyer, Charles Francis, Chester Thomas and Harry Murrell. Intment was in the Fairmont Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal October 19th, 1961 page 4. Married Gust A. Peterson on December 27, 1894 in Fairmont, Nebraska. Lot owner: Josiah Francis.
