Description	:	Her parents were Quakers from Deep Creek Monthly Meeting. She was dismissed for "marrying out of union", circa 1805. She and John moved to Clinton County Ohio in 1808. In 1836, they moved to Allen Co, Section 6, in the portion of that county which became Auglaize in 1848. (Portrait and Biographical Record of Auglaize, Logan and Shelby Counties, Ohio, 1892, Chapman Bros.) Cynthia and John had nine children. They walked from North Carolina to Ohio.
