Description	:	Our beloved daughter, Della Schmidt, was born October 3, 1925 near Hesston, Kansas, in McPherson Co. and departed this life Oct. 6, 1944 in a Denver, Colo. hospital, reaching the age of 19 years, and 3 days. In 1928 she with her parents and the family moved to Syracuse, Kansas, where she made her home. After this she has lived at Moundridge, Kansas. On August 5, 1944 she went to Canon City, Colo. to her parents, where she stayed till Sept. 11, 1944, when she became a patient in the hospital. She leaves to mourn, her parents, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.... We commit her to the righteous Judge, who knows our lives to the very end. --Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schmidt, Canon City, Colo. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in Syracuse, Kansas. These services were conducted by Vernon Nightengale and Albert Unruh. Bro. Unruh spoke from Scriptures Eccl. 9:11; Job 14:10-11; 21:23-26. Interment was made in the city cemetery.
