W., died at St. John’s Hospital Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 8:30 a.m. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 2, at 10:30 a.m. at the Welter Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Miller officiating. The son of John and Cecilia Danburg, he was born July 19, 1885 in Buffalo County. He moved to Miller as a young man and worked as a tinner and plumber. May 15, 1907, Danburg married Mary E. Nicholas, Miller. She died in 1937. February 27, 1944, he married Hildegarde Knodel, Yankton. In 1950 he retired and moved to Huron. Danburg was an active member of the First Christian Church and Methodist church, Miller, and the First Methodist Church, Huron. He was a member of the men’s choir at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Russell, Gainsville, Fla., Dwight, Greenwell Springs, La., and DeVerne Jr., Minneapolis; one sister, Mrs. Ira Scovil, Vancouver, Wash.; four brothers, Eugene, Miller, Arthur, Pikeville, Ky., Elmer, Rapid City, and John Carl, Austin, Minn.; and three stepchildren, Mrs. E. P. Drury, Harrold, Mrs. William Leesman, Blunt, Arnold Knodle, Holabird.
