Description	:	Funeral services for Dora May Good, 77, of Rt. 2, Merino will be conducted 2 p.m.,Friday from the Chaney Walters Funeral Home, Rev. Donald App, Rev. Gary Haddock and Rev. Walter Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery. Mrs. Good died Monday in Akron. She served as curator of the Overland Trail Museum from 1964 until 1972 when she retired. Mrs. Good was born Oct. 5, 1901 in Dunlap, Mo., the daughter of Joseph Lewis and Blanche Smith Couch. Mrs. Good was born Oct. 5, 1901 in Dunlap, Mo., the daughter of Joseph Lewis and Blanche Smith Couch. She received her early schooling in Missouri and the family moved to Colorado in 1916 when they purchased a farm northwest of Merino. She attended Merino schools, graduating from Merino High School in 1919 and attended the University of Colorado prior to her Oct. 5, 1922 marriage to Roy E. Good in Merino. Mrs. Good resumed her college studies after her family had grown, receiving her degree in 1972. She was interested in history and was past president of the Logan County Historical Society. Mrs. Good was a member of the Merino Church of God, the Farmer's Union and with her husband was active in the Logan County Democratic Party. She is survived by her husband, Roy E. Good of Merino; four sons, Loren Good of Akron, W. Claude Good of Vicksburg, Mich., Philip Good of Montrose and Kenneth Good Of Sydney, Australia; a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Harryman of Merino; a foster son, Bob Burk of Sterling; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Lamm of Oalthe and Mrs. Gladys Burkhart of Greeley; a brother, Marion Buel Couch of Sterling; 22 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Chaney-Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
