Read More	HUSTON, DOROTHY—Mrs. Frank Huston, a lifelong resident of Fillmore county, passed away at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, Saturday morning, December 24, 1961, aged 64years and 11 days. Dorothy Irene Sole, daughter of George and Anna Jane Holland Sole, was born December 13, 1897, on a farm near Fairmont, Neb. There she spent her early childhood and received her elementary education in school District No. 28. In the fall of 1909 her parents purchased a home and moved to Geneva, Neb. She with her older brothers and sister did not join them until the spring of 1910. She continued her education in the Geneva public school, graduating with the class of 1918. Her religious training was received in the Fairmont and Geneva Congregational churches. For many years Dorothy took an active part in the activities of the church, giving of her time and services in preparing dinners and banquets served in the church parlor. She was united in marriage to Frank B. Huston, October 30, 1918, at Hastings, Neb. This union was blessed with two children, a son, Carroll Lavar, and a daughter, Helen Ann. Being of a loving disposition and always ready to accept responsibilities, she has shared her home with others. She was mother to Allan Sole, whom she reared from infancy. Her home was also home to her sister Elsie for many years. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Frank, her son Carroll, and his wife Frances of Lincoln, Neb.; a daughter, Helen Ann Ruh and her husband Bill of Beatrice, and two grandsons, Lyle Lee Huston and Duane Ruh. Also surviving are two brothers Clarence Sole of Nelson, and Carl of Hastings, and two sisters Mrs. Ruby Walton of Geneva and Dr. Elsie Sole of Denver, Col., many nieces and nephews, besides a host of friends. Those preceding her in death are her parents, four brothers, Arthur H., Alwyne E., Henry G.., and an infant brother Edwin, also a sister, Bernice. Services were conducted from the Kritner-Farmer funeral home in Geneva at 2 p. m. Wednesday, December 27. Rev. Robert J. Kasper officiated. Mrs. Gerald Pickerell sang “Resting In His Love.” Mrs. Willard Foster was accompanist. Pallbearers were Allen Sole, Ernest Sole, Harold Sole, Keith Sole, Lloyd Sole and James S. Matejka.
