Source Stark 10-13-2016 --------------------------- Dorothy Mae Drakulich, age 90, formerly of Salem, Ohio, and residing in Huron, Ohio, passed away at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at her home. She was born September 17, 1926 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Alice (King) Galchick. On May 18,1946, she married John Drakulich and the couple had celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary in 2016. He preceded her in death August 18, 2016. She graduated from Salem High School with the class of 1944. Dorothy worked for First National Bank(Society, Key) until she retired in 1986. In her younger days, Dorothy enjoyed fishing in Guilford Lake and was an avid golfer. Dorothy golfed until the age of 84. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salem for the last 60 plus years and served at the Samaritan House through the church for fifteen years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her only daughter, Cynthia Ann Hippely in 2014 and her sister, Alice "Toots" Costa. Dorothy is survived by Grandsons, Jeff (Lee Ann) Hippely of Huron, Ohio, and Jason (Jaime) Hippely of Sandusky, Ohio, Son-in-Law, James Hippely of Huron, Ohio, Great-Grandchildren Julia Hippely of Huron, Elizebeth Ortner of Mentor, Ohio, Jacob Gilliam, Memphis Hippely and Nikkolas Hippely of Sandusky, Ohio, Great-Great Grandson, Jaxon Danko of Mentor and Nephew, Donald Lefever of Colorado. A funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, 1290 E. State St. Salem, Ohio 44460 with Pastor Claye Folger officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in Salem, Ohio, and at the family’s request, there will be no graveside service.
