Description	:	Warren Earl Tyler, the son of Samuel and Emma Lou Shaler Tyler, was born on March 1, 1921 at Riceville, Iowa, and died on January 8, 1989 at the Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa at the age of 67 years. Warren grew up in Riceville, Iowa, and attended school there, graduating with the class of 1938. He attended the University of Iowa at Iowa City, Iowa for one year; transfering to Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls, Iowa. Read More	Warren Earl Tyler, the son of Samuel and Emma Lou Shaler Tyler, was born on March 1, 1921 at Riceville, Iowa, and died on January 8, 1989 at the Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa at the age of 67 years. Warren grew up in Riceville, Iowa, and attended school there, graduating with the class of 1938. He attended the University of Iowa at Iowa City, Iowa for one year; transfering to Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls, Iowa. His education was interrupted when he served his Country with the Army in the South Pacific. He received his discharge in 1946, and entered Iowa State University at Ames, Iowa in the school of Veterinary Medicine. He received his degree as a Dr. of Veterinary Medicine in 1950 from Iowa State University. On June 25, 1949, Warren Tyler and Betty Jean Searcy of Cresco, Iowa were united in marriage at the Baptist Parsonage in Centerville, Iowa. This union was blessed with four children. They made their home in Radcliffe where Dr. Tyler established a Veterinary practice, which he maintained until 1969. He then became a Federal Veterinarian for the U.S.D.A., and then they moved to Schleswig, Iowa. Dr. Tyler retired from that position in 1983 but continued to make their home in Schleswig. Dr. Tyler was a member of the United Church of Christ in Schleswig and the V.F.W. Post No. 3930 of Scheswig. Preceding Warren in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife Betty of Schleswig and a daughter and three sons. Also surviving are six grandchildren; one brother Sanford Tyler of Chester, Iowa and sister, Lois Tyler of Casper, Wyoming.
