Derek Cowan and Rev. Mark Carico officiating. Interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Independence, VA, with military rites conducted by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zepyhr Road, Dobson, NC 27017 or Mountain Valley Hospice, 1477 Carrollton Pike, Hillsville, VA 24343 of the American Heart Assiciation, Memorial & Tribute Processing Center, P.
