Description	:	Mrs. Edna C. Officer, 93, died March 24 at the Pioneer Nursing Home, where she had been a patient since February 2, 1970. She was born December 12, 1882 in Winnemucca. Nev., a daughter of Mr and Mrs. George W. Baker She moved with her parents to the Boulder Valley south of Big Timber in 1885. She was married to William T. Prather in 1906 at Big Timber and they ranched eight miles west of town until Mr. Prather's death in 1910. She moved to Big Timber and lived there until 1916 when she moved back to the ranch. She... Read More	Mrs. Edna C. Officer, 93, died March 24 at the Pioneer Nursing Home, where she had been a patient since February 2, 1970. She was born December 12, 1882 in Winnemucca. Nev., a daughter of Mr and Mrs. George W. Baker She moved with her parents to the Boulder Valley south of Big Timber in 1885. She was married to William T. Prather in 1906 at Big Timber and they ranched eight miles west of town until Mr. Prather's death in 1910. She moved to Big Timber and lived there until 1916 when she moved back to the ranch. She was married to George Campbell from 1919 until 1926. In 1935 she was married to Wilbur Officer at Livingston where they lived until his death in September, 1964. She spent a year in Klamath Falls, Ore. and then returned to Big Timber to reside. Mrs. Officer was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Livingston Pioneer Society and a charter member of the Kill Kare Klub. She was preceded in death by a son and daughter in-law, Tom and Olga Prather; and by a daughter. Ethel Prather Lunceford. Survivors include a son, Ralph B. Prather. Big Timber, one granddaughter, one grandson and four great grandchildren. Services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Lowry Funeral Home with Mrs. Alice D Moore, Christian Science Reader, officiating. Organist was Mrs. David Roys and soloist was David Roys. Casket bearers were Jim Brannin, Charles McDonnell, Ross Snyder, Fred White, Robert Barber and Ray West. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery
