Description	:	Wife of Chris E Coblentz Coblentz.--- Edna Mae, daughter of D. J. and Lydia (Schrock) Thomas, was born at Pueblo, Colo., Oct. 1, 1911; died suddenly on the street in Iowa City, Iowa, Jan. 14, 1950; aged 38 y. 3m .13 d. Death was caused by pulmonary embolism. On Jan.14, 1932, she was married to Chris Coblentz, who survives. Also surviving are 5 sons (Amos, Lloyd, Danny, Ralph, and Everet), 4 daughters (Dorothy Mae, Katie, Esther, and Shirley), 3 brothers, one sister, and a large number of other relatives and friends. On Jan.14, 1932, she was married to Chris Coblentz, who survives. Also surviving are 5 sons (Amos, Lloyd, Danny, Ralph, and Everet), 4 daughters (Dorothy Mae, Katie, Esther, and Shirley), 3 brothers, one sister, and a large number of other relatives and friends. Her parents, and one infant daughter preceded her in death. In her youth she accepted Christ as her Saviour. At that time she lived in Kansas; in 1938 the family moved in Iowa, locating in the Iowa City vicinity. She united with the East Union Mennonite Church, Kalona, later transferring her membership to the Iowa City Mission, where she was a member at the time of her death. Funeral services were held at the East Union Church Jan. 17, conducted by D. J. Fisher and Norman Hobbs. Burial was made in the East Union Cemetery.
