(Details of accident and funeral followed) Edwin Lyle Kolar, son of Edward L. and Mary Kolar was born June 7, 1923 near Wolbach. He departed from this life on Monday, July 4, 1966 at the age of 43 years and 27 days. Edwin received his education in the rural schools and grew to manhood in the Wolbach area. During World War II he served in the Infantry in the United States [some of article appears to be missing, probably about his marriage] 1946 at Wolbach. The couple made their home on a farm near Wolbach where they have since resided. Mr. Kolar was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Wolbach, Carl Mogensen American Legion Post 119 of St. Paul and Wolbach Masonic Lodge No. 292, A.F. and A.M. He was serving as director of the Howard County FHA, secretary of the Farmers Union Co-op Elevator of Wolbach, vice president of Trinity Lutheran Church at Wolbach, and present (sic) of the Greeley County Farmers Union. Surviving are his wife, Marialice, one daughter, Karen L., three sons, Edwin L. Jr., Roger L. and Bruce L., all at home; his parents, and one sister, Mrs. Norma Haggstrom of Denver, Colorado and other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by one brother.
