She was the widow of Claude Bishop and the daughter of the late William Pressley and Frances McKinney. Mrs. Bishop was a member of Cooley Springs Baptist Church. She graduated from Asheville Teachers College and taught school in District 2 of Spartanburg County for 36 years. She was the widow of Claude Bishop and the daughter of the late William Pressley and Frances McKinney. Mrs. Bishop was a member of Cooley Springs Baptist Church. Caddell (Randall) of Cooley Springs; sister, Ann Powell (Gene); brothers, Max McKinney (Joyce), and Kenneth McKinney (Janie); three grandchildren, Jennifer C. McKinney, Joshua and Justin Caddell; and four great-grandchildren, Garrison and Sullivan Bishop, Rachel and Lydia McKinney. She is predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Bishop; and seven brothers, John, Edwin, Bill, Hugh, Gene, Tom and David McKinney. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Eggers Funeral Chapel of Chesnee and the Rev. David Kite will officiate. Burial will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cooley Springs Baptist Church, 950 Martin Camp Rd., Chesnee, SC 29323 or SC Alpha Beta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, PO Box 153, Converse, SC 29329 or Hospice of South Carolina, 945 E.
