Description	:	Elizabeth Elinor Prall, age 96 of Lamoni, 1A, died of complications of cancer Friday, October 11 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at the Slade -O'Donnell Funeral Home in Lamoni at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16 with interment in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Lamoni. Visitation will be 12-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born at home near Tabor, IA on May 1, 1906, and moved to a farm south of Lamoni at age 9, later moving to the city, where she remained until her death. She was born at home near Tabor, IA on May 1, 1906, and moved to a farm south of Lamoni at age 9, later moving to the city, where she remained until her death. Prior to her retirement, she had co-managed a farming operation with her husband Wilber until his death in 1963. She was a graduate of Graceland College and a member of the R.L.D.S. Church. Elizabeth was an avid collector of rare buttons and served as secretary of the National Button Society for many years. When her health was better, she had traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Wilber; brother Paul Roberts; sister Vera Midgorden; and stepchildren: Lois Walden, Dorothy Kelley, and Carl Prall. She is survived by her son Dr. Wayne Prall and wife RoseAnn of Des Moines; seven grandchildren: James Walden, John Walden, Jim Kelley, Ann Gould, Shirley Prall, Michelle Prall, and David Prall; 10 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Memorials may be given to the Mercy Medical Center Oncology Unit in her memory. Beth married Wilbur Prall, a widower with children, on August 23, 1931. Together they had one child, Dr. Wayne Eugene Prall. Her parents were Edward Roberts (1874 - 1958) and Sally Mae Arganbright Roberts (1870 - 1959).
