Rev. Wilkins conducted the services which were largely attended. Interment was made in the Giltner cemetery. (provided by diaNEB, contributor #47466150) ======== Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Wednesday, 1 May 1918 Obituary Mrs. Herman Buenger was born January 4, 1880, in Hamilton County and died April 20, 1918, at her home in Grand Island, aged 38 years, three months and sixteen days. She was united in marriage to Herman Buenger on February 3, 1898, at that time residing near Gilner. To this union were born five children, three preceding her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides the husband, one daughter and one son, Alvina and Leonard, as also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Breitenfeldt, all of this vicinity. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the residence in Grand Island, Rev. Mr. Wilkins officiating. The remains were gently laid to rest by the side of the children in the Case cemetery, southwest of Giltner. We extend sympathy to the bereaved ones. (provided by diaNEB, contributor #47466150)
