She leaves to... Read More	Albert City Appeal May 12, 1932 (Front page) MRS. GEORGE GARTON AN OLD SETTLER CALLED TO HER REST Ella Amanda Ableman, was born in Monroe, Wisconsin on January 3rd, 1855. She was married to Geo. A. Garton in Waukesha, Wis., on March, 1872. To this union four sons were born, two sons having preceded her in death ten years ago. Mrs. Garton had been in poor health for a number of years and passed away at the home of her son, Ross, on Saturday, May 7th, having attained an age of 77 years, four months and 4 days. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Frank and Ross Garton, of Marathon, Iowa. Also ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren besides other relatives and a large host of friends. Mrs.Garton came into the Christian faith undenominational, in 1914 and to this choice she kept true until her final summons. Among those from out of town attending the funeral were: Mrs. Olin Johnson, Mrs. Louie Johnson, Mrs. Pomeroy, Velma Keele, C. W. Nelson, Mrs. Gust Anderson, Dr. and Mrs. Morton, Joe Morton, Bert Eggersson, all of Laurens, Iowa; Louie Turner of Curlew; Caleb Garton of LeMars; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kidder of Varina; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Sellack of Truesdale.; Mrs. Anna Fales and children of Storm Lake, la.; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Steir of Rembrandt; Miss Trena Jacobson of Alta; Mr. and Mrs. Walt Swanberg, The Misses Ellen, Emma Swanberg, Henry Swanberg of Peterson; Mr. and Mrs. Verne Swanberg of Sioux Rapids; Mrs. Claus Falck and Mrs. C. Blomberg of Albert City and Car1.Bjorklund and Geo Garton of Webb, Iowa. Miss Anna Hestekind and Miss Myrtle Johnson officiated at the funeral services. Pallbears were F. A. Davis, C. Crone, C.
