Description	:	OBITUARY OF Mrs. Ella Mae Horton (Horn) Ella Mae Horn, daughter of Robert D. and Sarah E. Horton, was born November 16, 1885 in Davis County. Mrs. Horn was reared in Fabius township and educated in its rural schools. She grew to young womanhood in this same community, making many friends. Among those friends she found a life's companion, Mr. J. B. Horn. They were married Sept. 1, 1907 at her home and the two chose to make their home in this same community near the Monterey Christian Church of which she was a member and actively supported until moving from this community in later years. Read More	OBITUARY OF Mrs. Ella Mae Horton (Horn) Ella Mae Horn, daughter of Robert D. and Sarah E. Horton, was born November 16, 1885 in Davis County. Mrs. Horn was reared in Fabius township and educated in its rural schools. She grew to young womanhood in this same community, making many friends. Among those friends she found a life's companion, Mr. J. B. Horn. They were married Sept. 1, 1907 at her home and the two chose to make their home in this same community near the Monterey Christian Church of which she was a member and actively supported until moving from this community in later years. This home was blessed with three girls: Delphia, Deloris, and Dorotha; and one son, Demar. Mrs. Horn, loved her husband and family in the deepest sense of devotion and sought the best for them to fill their life with purpose. In the past few years, Ella Mae, as we all knew her, began failing notedly in health. In the early hours of October 26, 1964, she suddenly, but quietly passed away at the age of 78 years, 11 months.; and 21 days. Preceding her in death were both parents; one brother, who died in infancy; two sisters, Mrs. Mina E. Jones, and Mrs. Verba J. Campbell. She leaves to revere her memory her husband, Mr. J. B. Horn, her three daughters, Delphia and her husband, Mr. Raymond Spurgeon of Bloomfield; Delores and her husband, Mr. Sherman McClurg of Burlington, la.; Dorotha and her husband, Mr. Willard Kinsler of Bloomfield; her son, Demar, and his wife, Dorothy, also of Bloomfield; one sister, Mrs. Eva Garmon of Bloomfield and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
