Lovercheck and wife were later buried in Kansas. On December 7, 1863, a neighbor, William Lawson and wife Elizabeth, sold acreage amounting to two acres to the church congregation for $5.00 and a church building and cemetery were established on that, the Lawson farm, which later was sold to the Sickendick family.
