Description	:	Hillsboro-Elma Marie Banman, 86, passed away on June 14, 2013 at her home in rural Hillsboro. She was born August 3,1926 in Goessel the daughter of William and Linda Enz Unruh. She had worked as a CNA for 47 years at both the Bethesda Hospital and then later at the Bethesda Home. She and her husband were foster parents to over 125 children. Other survivors include her daughters, Darla Banman (Gary Lyndaker) of Gravois Mills, MO, Elaine Banman of Hillsboro, 2 brothers, Wilbur Unruh of Hesston, Marvin Unruh of North Newton, 1 sister, Margaret Funk of Hillsboro, 3 grandchildren, Malea Hartvickson (Ryan Bryant), Bonnie (Kevin) Gaeddert, Robyn Hartvickson (Ethan Harris); 8 great grandchildren, Jordan Hartvickson-Gonzalez, Darian Gonzalez, Emmalyn Gaeddert, Eddie Gaeddert, Eli Gaeddert, Ellarose Gaeddert, Riley Hartvickson, Aida Hartvickson. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Waldo Unruh. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel with Pastors Linda Ewert and Steve Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow the service at Alexanderwohl Cemetery, Goessel. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Goessel. Memorials may be sent to Bethesda Home in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Goessel.
