George near Chester, Nebr., on November 4, 1875 and passed away November 1, 1948 at Hebron, Nebr., at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 28 days. She was united in marriage to R.H. Most of her life, she lived near Chester, until the year 1929, when she and her husband moved to Hebron which has since been their home. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, R.H. Sherwood; two sons, Harley G. Sherwood of Chester, Neb., and Lawrence E. Sherwood of Lincoln, Neb.; six daughters, Mrs. Hannah Harder and Mrs. Goldie Bethschider (sic), both of Hebron, Neb., Mrs. Alice Paine, Mrs. Dorothy McCoy, Mrs. Velma Rines and Mrs. Ilene Lenz, all of San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Duey and Mrs. Mabel Duey of Chester, Neb.; one brother, Jasper George of Edwardsville, Kansas; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many other relatives and a host of friends. Two sons, Floyd C. and Arthur R., preceded her in death in their early manhood in the year of 1926. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Chester Christian church (sic) with the Rev. C.M. Foust officiating. Interment was in the Chester cemetery (sic).
