Description	:	The many friends of John George were sorry to learn Tuesday of his sudden passing away at his filling station southwest of Chester, from heart trouble. Mr. George had gone to this work as usual on Tuesday morning and at about ten o'clock was found dead at the station by a tourist, who notified the people here. Mr. George had many friends in the community, and was well liked by all who knew him. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family. Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Christian Church. --------------------------------------------- John George was born near Chester, Nebraska, May 29, 1873, and passed away at his place of business near Chester, Nebraska, July 5, 1932, at the age of fifty-nine years, one month and six days. On August 20, 1892, he was united in marriage with Ethel Larkins. To this union were born two children who are still living: Mrs. Minnie Curry of Ashby, Nebraska, and Lee George of Chester, Nebraska. The mother of these two children passed away February 22, 1898. On January 24, 1900 he was united in marriage with Ida Frazier. To this union were born these children who are still living Lloyd George, Detroit, Michigan; Lyle George, Republic, Kansas; Lester George, Mildred George, and Gerald George of Chester, Nebraska. Three sisters and two brothers are living; Mrs. R.H. Sherwood, Hebron; Mrs. Will Duey, Chester; Mrs. Charles Duey, Chester; Philo George, Upton, Wyoming; Jasper George, Greeley, Kansas. Besides these members of his immediate family he leaves eleven grandchildren and a great number of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Frank N. Gardener at the Christian Church Thursday afternoon at three o'clock. Interment was made in the Chester Cemetery.
