Description	:	Mabel Irena George Duey, daughter of Elom (sic) and Hannah Ford George was born on March 12, 1888, near Chester, Nebraska and passed away on November 13, 1981 at Hebron, Nebraska, at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 1 day. She was united in marriage to Charles Edgar Duey, on July 23, 1908 at Chester, Nebraska and to this union 8 children were born. She became a member of the United Methodist Church of Chester, Nebraska on October 30, 1910. Read More	Mabel Irena George Duey, daughter of Elom (sic) and Hannah Ford George was born on March 12, 1888, near Chester, Nebraska and passed away on November 13, 1981 at Hebron, Nebraska, at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 1 day. She was united in marriage to Charles Edgar Duey, on July 23, 1908 at Chester, Nebraska and to this union 8 children were born. She became a member of the United Methodist Church of Chester, Nebraska on October 30, 1910. She lived most of her life around Chester, many years on a farm west of Chester, and in Chester from 1946, until she went to live in the Blue Valley Lutheran Home in 1973. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, Hazel, one grandson, four great-grandchildren, three son-in-laws (sic), three brothers and three sisters. She leaves to mourn in her passing, two sons, John Duey and his wife, Tess of Nelson, Nebraska, Raymond Duey and his wife, Loetta of Haddam, Ks.; five daughters, Mrs. Walter (Edna) Koester of Deshler, Nebraska, Mrs. Henry (Gladys) Baloun of Chester, Nebraska, Mrs. Ruby Baloun and her husband, William of Hebron, Nebraska, Mrs. Bertha Carpenter and her husband, Willard of Salem, Oregon, Mrs. Elsie Deenin and her husband, Joseph of Coos Bay, Oregon, 26 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, several other relatives and a host of friends. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and a very special grandmother. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 1982 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Chester, Nebraska, conducted by the Reverend Jean Samuelson.
