Mr. Torseth retired in 1966 as postmaster in Mekinock after 20 years. He was a member of Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Josephine Torseth, and a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Bye, both of the home; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
