Description	:	Mrs. Emily Chapman Was born in Pennsylvania December 16, 1848; died September 30, 1923; being 74 years, 9 months and 14 days old. She moved to Iowa with her parents, where she was united in marriage to Milburn Chapman November 1, 1866, who preceded her to the Great Beyond June 15, 1905. These were all present at the time of her death except C.L. Chapman. She leaves sixteen grand children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. She was a kind and loving mother, always patient and considerate. Her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. She joined the Baptist church at the age of sixteen years, and remained a member until the time of her death. The funeral services were held from the old homestead east of town on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. W.A. Burrus of the Christian church had charge of the service.
