Rev. Baysinger had charge of the services with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Obituary Emma Ann Teller, daughter of Pierre and Avie Ann Teller, was born July 27, 1872 at David City, Nebraska, and passed away on December 2, 1949 at Rushville, Nebraska, having attained the age of 77 years, 4 months, and five days. She came to Rushville while still a young girl where she attended school, giving a good account of herself as a brilliant student and a capable teacher. From Rushville she moved to Omaha, Nebr., there to spend most of her life, finishing her education and accepting a position as teacher in Boyle's Business College. Later she busied herself with public stenography until failing health forced her to discontinue work. In September of 1947 she returned to Rushville, here to make her home with a niece, Mrs. Hattie Watson, who gave freely of her time and means to make a comfortable home for her aged aunt. Four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Her last years were spent in pain and suffering and failing eyesight, but through all this she recognized God's love and mercy, and spoke many times of her hope in Christ. She leaves to mourn her passing one brother, Maitland C. Teller, of Octavia, Nebraska, and the following nieces and nephews: Mrs. Hattie Watson, Rushville, Nebr.; Mrs. Catherine Lambrecht, Lead, S. Dak., Mrs. Frank Rathbun, Merriman, Nebr., Mrs. Wilbur Margritz, Lexington, Nebr.; Mrs. Ethel Cam of Washington; Mrs. Dwight Riggleman, Gordon, Nebr.; Mrs. Joe Vrana, Mrs. Howard Hookstra, Miss Lila Teller, all of Octavia, Nebr.; Frank Owens, Cashmere, Washington; Francis O'Neil, Irwin, Nebr.; Maitland Teller, Jr.; Bill Teller, of Octavia, Nebr.; Alfred Teller, Messena, Iowa, and a host of friends.
