Description	:	Dayton Review May 2, 1901 OBITUARY On Tuesday of last week, the soul of Erick Sudderberg of this place passed away, his death taking place at the age of 76 years, 6 months, and 13 days. He was born in Ovanåker, Gävleborgs Län, Sweden, October 10, 1821, where his boyhood days were spent. On October 15, last he and his children celebrated his golden wedding, having been married in 1850 to Miss Martha Peterson, with whom he has lived a long and happy life. Read More	Dayton Review May 2, 1901 OBITUARY On Tuesday of last week, the soul of Erick Sudderberg of this place passed away, his death taking place at the age of 76 years, 6 months, and 13 days. He was born in Ovanåker, Gävleborgs Län, Sweden, October 10, 1821, where his boyhood days were spent. On October 15, last he and his children celebrated his golden wedding, having been married in 1850 to Miss Martha Peterson, with whom he has lived a long and happy life. To this union, five children were born, three sons and two daughters, one daughter dying in infancy. Being attracted to the possibilities of this country, he came over the water in 1870, settling down near Stratford June 28, of that year. In 1888, he came to Dayton where he has since lived. His funeral exercises were held Thursday afternoon from the Swedish M.E. church, Rev. Seaberg preaching the sermon, after which he was laid to rest in the cemetery at this place. Mr. Sudderberg was held in the highest respect by his neighbors and friends. He lived to a good old age, and his life was a useful one. The breaved family have the sympathy of a host of friends at this place.
