Sudderberg, at Des Moines, Tuesday, December 19, 1911, at the ripe old age of 83 years and 3 days. Mrs. Sudderberg was born in Ovanaker, Gavleborgs Lan, Sweden, December 15, 1828. She was married to Erick Sudderberg, October 15, 1850, and came to America June 28, 1870, settling near Stratford. Read More	Stratford Courier Dec. 28, 1911 Mrs. Martha Sudderberg, born Martha Peterson, passed away at the home of her son, J.E. Sudderberg, at Des Moines, Tuesday, December 19, 1911, at the ripe old age of 83 years and 3 days. Mrs. Sudderberg was born in Ovanaker, Gavleborgs Lan, Sweden, December 15, 1828. She was married to Erick Sudderberg, October 15, 1850, and came to America June 28, 1870, settling near Stratford. She moved to Dayton in 1888 and on the 23rd day of April, 1901, her husband was called home. She made her home in Dayton for twenty-one years, moving to Des Moines, September 20, 1911, where she made her home with her son, J.E. Sudderberg, until death claimed her. Five children were born to this union - three sons and two daughters - one daughter having passed away in infancy. She is mourned by one sister in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, one daughter, three sons, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Swedish M. E. Church at Dayton and the remains laid to rest in the Dayton Cemetery.
