Description	:	Erma Pauline Wright, 84 years of age, of Stamford, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Center in Alma, Nebraska. She was born on February 12, 1926 at home in Edison, Nebraska the oldest of three children born to Ernest and Verneta (White) Evans. Erma grew up in Edison and attended Edison Elementary School. Read More	Erma Pauline Wright, 84 years of age, of Stamford, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Center in Alma, Nebraska. She was born on February 12, 1926 at home in Edison, Nebraska the oldest of three children born to Ernest and Verneta (White) Evans. Erma grew up in Edison and attended Edison Elementary School. When her family moved to Bellingham, Washington, she attended junior and senior high school there graduating with the high school class of 1943. On July 21, 1943 she was united in marriage to Ernest Arnold in Seattle, Washington and to this union one daughter, Sharon Sue was born. In 1948 they moved to Edison until her husband rejoined the service later that same year and they moved to Bremerton, Washington. In 1950 she lived in Bellingham and worked at Hillsview Dairy. In 1951 she moved to Inglewood, California and worked for the Telephone Company and Electronics Company. On October 10, 1954 she was united in marriage to Charles Ellison Wright in Tijuana, Mexico and to this union a son, Michael Edward was born. Charles had one son from a previous marriage, Charles Clinton. In 1960 she lived in Saugus, California. In 1965 the family moved to Stamford, Nebraska and she lived there until the time of her death. Charles passed away on April 5, 1985. Erma loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and other family members. She had several hobbies during her life, raised pot-bellied pigs, birds, exotic breeds of cats, African violets, cake decorating and worked most of her life raising purebred dogs of several breeds which she really enjoyed. Her love for the toy poodles was carried down through her children and grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Charles she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Evans. She leaves to mourn her passing one son: Michael Edward Wright and his wife, Bonnie of Stamford; one daughter: Sharon Sue Shoemaker of Beaumont, Texas; one step-son: Charles Clinton Wright and his wife, Jeannie of Acton, California; 6 grandchildren: Wesley Davis and his wife, Sharon of Vidor, Texas, Johnny Davis and his wife, Melinda of Woodville, Texas, Racheal Peavley and her husband, Tony of Silsbee, Texas, Jason Wright and his wife, Amy of Stamford, Kelly Wright and his wife, Lacie of Oxford, Staci Crawford and her husband, Cory of Omaha, Nebraska; 3 step-grandchildren: Nancy Wilson and her husband, Jerry of Palmdale, California, Michelle Bertier and her husband, Ted of San Diego, California, Charles Wright of Sunland, California; 10 great-grandchildren: Megan Davis of Woodville, Texas, Alicia Reese of Kountze, Texas, Jamie Reese of Warren, Texas, Christopher, Sara and Faith Peavley of Silsbee, Caleb, Camden and Callum Wright of Stamford, Lexie Wright of Oxford; 6 step-great-grandchildren: Natlaie, Luke and Christopher Wilson of Palmdale, California, Maxwell, Annabelle and Charlie of San Diego, California; one sister: Gloria Churchill and her husband, Sidney of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; one niece, three nephews and other relatives and friends.
