Description	:	ANDERSON, ESTELLA R. — Estella R. Swanson, daughter of Victor and Ida Swanson, was born in Council Bluffs, Ia., February 15, 1881. She passed away in York, Neb., January 9, 1952, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 25 days. She had been seriously ill for five months. When she was four years old her parents moved to a farm near Lockridge, Ia., where she grew to young womanhood. Here she was united in marriage to John A. Anderson, September 4, 1900. They continued to farm near Lockridge until 1904, when they moved to York county, Nebraska.... Read More	ANDERSON, ESTELLA R. — Estella R. Swanson, daughter of Victor and Ida Swanson, was born in Council Bluffs, Ia., February 15, 1881. She passed away in York, Neb., January 9, 1952, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 25 days. She had been seriously ill for five months. When she was four years old her parents moved to a farm near Lockridge, Ia., where she grew to young womanhood. Here she was united in marriage to John A. Anderson, September 4, 1900. They continued to farm near Lockridge until 1904, when they moved to York county, Nebraska. Except for six years spent in Minnesota, the major portion of her life was spent in Nebraska. The family moved to a farm near Fairmont in 1918. In May, 1937, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson retired and moved to Fairmont. Her home and her family together with good neighbors were her devoted interests. She loved her church and was a regular attendant until failing health confined her mostly to her home. Two sisters and one brother have preceded her in death, also a grandson, John Robert Lovegrove. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson observed their golden wedding anniversary, September 4, 1950. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her passing one brother, William Swanson, who lives near the old home in Iowa, three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Lovegrove of near Fairmont, Mrs. Gladys Aden of Beatrice, Mrs. Vere Clark, of Aurora, one son, John Jr. of Fairmont, also eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many friends. Her place in the lives of her loved ones will never be filled in this world. But she has left with us God's promises that the glad reunion in His Eternal Home knows no parting, pain or tears for those who truly love and serve Him. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p. m. at Grace Methodist church in Fairmont, conducted by Rev. Norman Smitheram, pastor, assisted by Rev. R. L. Embree of Friend.
