Anderson and Estella Swanson Anderson, was born near Lockridge, Ia., on January 14, 1902, and departed this life March 19, 1973, after a brief illness at the Fillmore County hospital at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 5 days. Anderson and Estella Swanson Anderson, was born near Lockridge, Ia., on January 14, 1902, and departed this life March 19, 1973, after a brief illness at the Fillmore County hospital at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 5 days. She completed her schooling in Minnesota, later moving with her parents back to Nebraska in 1918. On October 21, 1920, she was united in marriage to Leroy Everett Lovegrove in Topeka, Kas. To this union were born four children: John Robert, Dorothy Mae, Maurice LeRoy and Donald Dean. She and her husband farmed in the Fairmont community until his death in 1946. She was a loving mother and grandmother and always willing to lend a helping hand. H er home and her family, together with good neighbors, were her devoted interests. She was a member of the Fairmont United Methodist church; American Legion Auxiliary, Lt. Earl Forbes, Unit No. 21; Mt. Moriah Chapter 38, Order of the Eastern Star, and Royal Neighbors of America. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy and a son Bob. She leaves to mourn, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Allgood (Dorothy) of Fairmont, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Lovegrove of Fairmont, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lovegrove of Waverly; 11 grandchildren ; one brother, John Anderson of Fairmont; two sisters, Gladys Brandt of Aurora and Vera Clark of Corvallis, Ore., and many close friends and relatives. Services were held at the Fairmont United Methodist church at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22, with Rev. Jay Schmidt officiating. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Hall with Mrs. Jerry Galusha as organist. Pallbearers were Gene Anderson, John Allen Anderson, Robert Bettger, Darrell Hughes, Claiton Lauber and Robert Dean Lovegrove. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
