Deceased was the wife of A. A. Winsell. Her maiden name was Murphy, and she was born at La Porte, Ind., in 1832 (sic. that 'town' not available in F.A.G location entries). The family resided in Fairfield for many years, and after a stay of a year or two in this city recently had returned to Kansas. Four children survive the mother, one of whom is Mrs. W. N. Strong (sic. Stella May Winsell Strong) of this city. Mrs. Murphy became a member of the Methodist church in early childhood and her life had always been that of a consistent, Christian woman. Mr. Winsell and Mr. and Mrs. Strong unite in thanking the friends who ministered to them so kindly in their time of affliction.
