Description	:	Mrs. Fred Elliott died at her home in Fraser Sunday morning at 12:15 o'clock. The deceased was twenty four years of age and death was due to consumption. Mrs. Elliott, nee Esther Steele was born in Moingona February 17, 1876. About three years ago she became the wife of Fred Elliott, since which time the couple have resided in Fraser. Mrs. Elliott, nee Esther Steele was born in Moingona February 17, 1876. About three years ago she became the wife of Fred Elliott, since which time the couple have resided in Fraser. Besides her husband there are living her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steele of Fraser, six sisters and one brother. They are Mesdames I. Elliott, and P.E. McCullom of Boone, I.H. Blackmore and W.H. Roberts of Boonsboro; Misses Fannie and Jennie Steele and Henry Steele of Fraser. It was the intention of Mr. and Mrs. Elliott to go to New Mexico for her health but her condition grew so alarming that the trip had to be abandoned. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the residence of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Birmingham of the Fifth ward. Services were held at the Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock, Rev. Scott W. Smith of Oskaloosa conducting the obsequies. The revered gentleman had three years previous performed the marriage ceremony. The Rathbone Sisters of Gem Temple, of which the deceased was an honored member, were in attendance. Interment was in East Linwood. The deceased was a young woman possessed of a host of friends who regret her untimely death. The Democrat extends its sincere sympathy to the bereaved husband and relatives.
