Description	:	Eve was born to Peter Lower and his wife in 1804. She married a widower and father of six named Henry Chubb, Sr. (his last name was also spelled Tschopp). He was the son of John Jacob Chubb, Sr. and his wife Anna Maria Chubb. Eve and Henry had four children: Enos John Jacob Eve Eve Chubb was forty-six at the time of the 1850 census. Henry Chubb's will written in 1853 stated his wife was should live out the rest of her life on his farm, but it is not certain whether Eve Chubb actually lived at the farm after her husband's death, since... He was the son of John Jacob Chubb, Sr. and his wife Anna Maria Chubb. Eve and Henry had four children: Enos John Jacob Eve Eve Chubb was forty-six at the time of the 1850 census. Henry Chubb's will written in 1853 stated his wife was should live out the rest of her life on his farm, but it is not certain whether Eve Chubb actually lived at the farm after her husband's death, since the farm was sold to George Rettig on 30 Aug 1857. Eve was allowed to stay on, even though Henry's debts exceeded the value of the fifty-acre property. She may have been allowed to live in a small house on the premises. Eve died in Monroe Township of Coshocton county in Ohio which was near her son, Enos. Eve's grave is in the same cemetery as her son Enos and his wife, Catherine (Snyder) Chubb. Eve may have lived on in her former home for a time, and later moved to be near her relatives.
