Description	:	Evelyn Elizabeth Slettebo Myrstol was born August 17, 1930 in Big Timber to Theodore Slettebo and Louise Slettebo Hogemark. She died on March 14, 2006 at the Pioneer Medical Center. Her husband, Carl Elmer Myrstol, sons, Allen and Wayne, along with sister, Thelma Mosness, and her parents preceded her in death. Evelyn lived in Sweet Grass County all her life. Read More	Evelyn Elizabeth Slettebo Myrstol was born August 17, 1930 in Big Timber to Theodore Slettebo and Louise Slettebo Hogemark. She died on March 14, 2006 at the Pioneer Medical Center. Her husband, Carl Elmer Myrstol, sons, Allen and Wayne, along with sister, Thelma Mosness, and her parents preceded her in death. Evelyn lived in Sweet Grass County all her life. She went to school at the Big Timber Grade School and would have graduated from Sweet Grass County High School, but instead got married to Carl Elmer Myrstol on September 30, 1948. They ranched on the North side of the Yellowstone River raising sheep, cattle and hogs from 1948 until 1991. They sold that ranch and moved to Otter Creek raising cattle, and Evelyn lived there until July of 2001 when she entered the Assisted Living and then PMC. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Simonich (Jim) of Lewistown and Carol Becken (Paul) of Big Timber; her brother, Ted Slettebo of Lake Havesu, Arizona; grandchildren, Corrine Becken Gaddo (Tony), Amy Simonich (Nathan Smith), Stacey Castillo (Frank), Shawna Dusko (George), Christopher Myrstol, Carrie Foster and Michele Egeland; and 12 great-grandchildren. She loved her family. Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She loved to cook for her family. Her family will miss her "dough gods" (fried bread), drop dumplings and Norwegian Potato Dumplings. She had a great sense of humor and will be missed by the PMC staff and her family for her laughter and stories. Clubs are Kill Kare Klub, Rachel Circle at the Lutheran Church, singing in the Church Choir and being an active member of the ELCW. Evelyn was a lifelong member of the Big Timber Lutheran Church. Services will be held at the Peaks of Glory Lutheran Church in Big Timber at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18. Lowry Funeral Home assisted the family with the services. Memorials can be given to the Sunday School Program at the Peaks of Glory Lutheran Church or the Pioneer Medical Center.
