She was born May 5, 1926 in Napoleon to the late Christ and Coral (Harmon) Vajen. On February 16, 1946, she married Alvin Oberhaus in Napoleon, Ohio who preceded her in death on October 31, 1993. Evelyn loved helping her family on the family farm. She also formerly worked at the Glove Factory and the Charles Company in Napoleon. Read More	Evelyn G.Vajen Oberhaus, 85, of Napoleon, Ohio, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. She was born May 5, 1926 in Napoleon to the late Christ and Coral (Harmon) Vajen. On February 16, 1946, she married Alvin Oberhaus in Napoleon, Ohio who preceded her in death on October 31, 1993. Evelyn loved helping her family on the family farm. She also formerly worked at the Glove Factory and the Charles Company in Napoleon. She loved gardening in her flower garden, and sharing time with her family. Evelyn was an active member of the Bavarian Club in Deshler and a former member of the Gideons International. She enjoyed painting and sharing them with her family. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Twp., having made many crocheted pictures and banners for the church. Evelyn is survived by her son, Alvin and wife Linda Oberhaus of Napoleon, grandchildren, Serena and Kevin Price, Christopher and Sara Oberhaus, Alicia Oberhaus and Nick Leow and great grandchildren, Madisyn and Evan, daughter, Sandra and Jim Aderman of Broomfield, Co., grandchildren, Michael Aderman and Laura Aderman, son, David and Annette Oberhaus of Napoleon, grandchildren, Natalie Oberhaus and Adam Oberhaus. She was preceded in death by a daughter Donna Jean and brothers, Chalmer and Virgil Vajen. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Twp., officiating Pastors Franklin Hays and Dean Stoner. Burial will follow in the Paul's Lutheran church cemetery. Visitation will be at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon on Monday from 2-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. The family request that memorials be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Twp., Hospice of Henry County, or a charity of the donor's choice.
