He was educated in Nelson schools. He lived in Nebraska all of his life, living in Nelson and Hastings. He attended the Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 20, 1986, at 2:00 p.m. from the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Morris Coggin officiating. Music was provided by Joe Ferebee, soloist, singing "In The Garden" and "Beyond The Sunset" with Ivan Schafer as organist and accompanist. Casketbearers were Clifford Jarzynka, Troy Jarzynka, Donald Duncan, Albert Wyatt, Clifford Duncan, LaVern Case. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery near Nelson, Nebraska.
