Description	:	Thomas Lyle (Mutt) Duncan, one of seven children of Tom Duncan and Minnie Simms Duncan, was born in Superior, Nebraska, on May 25, 1913. He attended schools in the Superior, Oak and Nelson communities, and was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church. On February 12, 1938 he was married to Eleanor Karnatz in Mankato, Kansas. Read More	Thomas Lyle (Mutt) Duncan, one of seven children of Tom Duncan and Minnie Simms Duncan, was born in Superior, Nebraska, on May 25, 1913. He attended schools in the Superior, Oak and Nelson communities, and was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church. On February 12, 1938 he was married to Eleanor Karnatz in Mankato, Kansas. To this union four children were born. Lyle spent most of his life in and around Nuckolls County, making his home in Superior for the past 31 years. He was a volunteer fireman for several years and a charter member of the Eagles Club. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor of Superior, one son, Mr. Donald Dean Duncan of Superior, two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Patricia) Rothchild of Mankato, Kansas, and Mrs. Albert (Jaqueline) Wyatt of Superior, nine grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. A. __ Donaldson of Clay Center, Kansas; three brothers, Mr. Clifford L. Duncan of Harvard, Mrs. Robert J. Duncan of Chicago, Illinios, Mrs. Everett D. Duncan of Lincoln. Lyle passed away in Superior on June 2, 1976 at the age of 63 years, 7 days. He was a kind and loving husband and father who always enjoyed being with his family, friends and fellow workers. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 4, 1976, at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel of Superior at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Marion Knoell officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery of Superior. Arrangements by the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior.
