Description	:	Minnie Ethel Sims, daughter of James and Elizabeth Sims, was born on October 10, 1883 in Richardson County, Nebraska. She passed away at Edgar, Nebraska on April 9, 1971 at the age of 87 years, 5 months, 4 weeks and 2 days. On August 6, 1910 she was united in marriage to Thomas Duncan. To this union 7 children were born. One daughter, Ethel Lorraine Duncan preceded her in death. She lived in Nelson for 43 years and in Nuckolls County most of her life. Donaldson of Clay Center, Kansas; five sons, Lyle of Superior, Nebraska, Donald A. of Smith Center, Kansas, Clifford L. of Harvard, Nebraska, Robert J. of Chicago, Illinois and Everette D. at home, seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Luella Simonton and Mrs. Tina Dillman, both of Nelson, Nebraska and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday, April 12, 1971 at 2:00 p.m. in the Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson, Nebraska. Rev. L.A. Hansen officiated. Casket bearers were Donald Duncan, Neil Duncan, Dennis Rothchild, Willard Verbeck, Clifford Jarzynka and Albert Wyatt. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery.
