This memorial was previously linked to a memorial for a Caroline Ellen Cuffel Price made by another contributor. A new memorial for Caroline has been made as of November 24, 2014. -------------- Ezra, his wife Caroline, and three children are buried in the same plot in Evergreen cemetery. The maiden name of his wife, Caroline, is listed in a cemetery listing as "Maloch", but at least one Price family tree on Ancestry lists it as "Malloch", so family researchers should be cautious. Caroline is the given name on the inscription, but some of those family trees list it as "Carrie." It is presumed that the three children buried on this plot are of Ezra and Caroline - the inscriptions are either very sparse or not legible, but given the placement of the headstones there isn't any particular reason to doubt that they were the parents. Two census reports, one U.S. and one Iowa, indicate that Ezra was born in New York. There is census evidence that another child of Ezra and Caroline Price was James Ezra Price. Information about him and any other children would be appreciated. Other children were Edward W. Price and Arthur H. Price and Karl Ashley Price.
