Wife of Truman Rowley, married December 25, 1906. ---------- Fairfield Daily Journal Friday, May 24, 1912 MRS. TRUMAN ROWLEY DIED LAST NIGHT. Mrs. Truman Rowley died this morning about two o'clock this morning about two o'clock at her home on West Washington after several months illness of tuberculosis. Mrs. Rowley's death at this time is something of a shock to her many friends for although it was known that she was very ill it has only been for the past two weeks that she has been confined to her bed. Fanny Cary-Rowley (sic) was born in this city April 28, 1882, and was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cary. She was reared in Fairfield and attended the public schools and attended the public schools and the city High school (sic). On December 25, 1906, she was united in marriage to Truman Rowley of this city. Two daughters, Mildred and Alice, were born to them and these with their father are left to mourn the death of their mother. Mrs. Rowley was a member of the First Methodist church of this city and was well known and highly esteemed in Fairfield and throughout the county. She leaves besides her own little family her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. Cary, two brothers, Alonzo of Sigourney and Charles of this city, and one sister Mrs. E.E. Fry of Burlington, Kansas, to mourn her death.
